William Edwards Adames

William Edwards Adames, lovingly known as Willie, passed away peacefully at his home on December 29, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife, children, and grandchildren. He was born on August 8, 1958, in Victoria, Texas, to the late Trino Adames Sr. and Conception Adames.

Willie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 45 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lesa Adames, and together they built a family filled with love and laughter. He is survived by his daughter Nikki Adames and her partner Joe Mejia, and his son William Adames and wife Brandy Adames.

Willie was blessed with nine grandchildren Avery and her husband Dustin, Arriana, Anissa and her partner Kaylynn, Josiah, William Jr., Jalaya, Janiyah, Rylan, and Kaylee and three great-grandchildren Destinee, Jasmine & Dustin Jr. all of whom were the pride and joy of his life.

He is also survived by his siblings Rose Urbano, Veronica Valenzuela, Dolores Alvarado, Lenora Alvarado, Ruben Adames, Sam Adames, and Trino Adames Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Miguel Adames Sr. and Seferino Adames, and his sister Patsy Torres.

Willie will be remembered for his strength, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence filled every room with warmth, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, his love and spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
