Robert Allen Sheffield

Robert Allen Sheffield Sr, aged 69, passed away after battling pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Sheffield, sons Robert Allen Sheffield Jr (Amanda)and William Sheffield, daughters Nina Cooper, Ruth Cooper-McClaugherty (Charlie), and Stephanie Burt (Michael), 11 grandchildren, his brother Frank Sheffield (Sarah), several nieces and nephews and his cousin Wilma Lawton.

He is preceded in death by his son James Sheffield, loving parents William Allen and Mary Ruth Sheffield, sisters Margie Sheffield and Mary McCool, and Cousin William Lawton.

Robert was a cross-country runner in high school, a US Navy Engine Mechanic (Boiler tech) from 1972 to 1975. After his service, he served as maintenance for VISD until he opened his business, RAS Enterprises, and was fully retired when he passed.

His Memorial Service will be held at the Lions Club Pavilion (B side) on November 23, 2024. In lieu of flowers, please donate funds to the DAV/VA or a cancer society of your choosing. Repast will be served after services.
