Richard Ysaguirre

Richard Ysaguirre, age 66, of Port Lavaca, Texas passed away July 31, 2025. He was born September 24, 1958 in Port Lavaca to Cruz and Guadalupe Licerio Ysaguirre. He was a master licensed electrician working with numerous companies like CCC group electrical, H&H electrical company and D-Bar construction as well as many others. His greatest passion was weightlifting. He enjoyed spending his time at the Calhoun County YMCA as an active member. He loved his two cats Meow and Cali. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, tinkering with his old trans am, and spending time with his brother, Reynaldo especially during the weekend for their weekly morning breakfast. 

He is survived by siblings: MaryAnn Bustos, Robert Ysaguirre, Adella Grimaldo, Reynaldo Ysaguirre, Adam Ysaguirre, Esther Castro, and Stella Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents Cruz and Guadalupe Ysaguirre, sister MaryAlice Loera, and his brothers Ramiro, Cruz, and Ruben Ysaguirre. 

Pallbearers are Robert Jr. Ysaguirre, Rudy Ysaguirre, Isaiah Aguero, Robert Escobar, Roger Bustos, Martel Ruiz, and Joe Soto.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 27, 2025 at 10:00am at Parkway Church Hwy 35 Port Lavaca, Texas 77979 followed by a Celebration Lunch at the 1st Baptist Church 902 Calhoun St. Port Lavaca, Texas 77979.
