Norman “Leigh” Smith, 71, of Port Lavaca passed away September 15, 2024. He was born September 11, 1953 in Houston to George O. and Robbie Jane Smith. Leigh was retired from Alcoa.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Smith; sons, Josh Smith and Beau Smith; brother, Lester “Curtis” Smith (Connie); nieces, Julie, Christy, Emily and Amy; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 11 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
