Nancey Elizabeth (Price) Tovar

Nancey Elizabeth Price Tovar (49) of Bloomington, TX, passed away on December 13, 2024. She was born on October 22, 1975, in El Paso, TX, to Wallace Joe and Billie Joe Price. Nancey graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1993.

Nancey devoted her life to caring for others and their needs. She dedicated her life to her three children, and most enjoyed being a loving grandmother to her precious and only grandchild. Nancey worked as a security guard. She had a keen eye for thrifting and had a deep love for fishing, which brought her much joy and peace throughout her life. Her happy place was the beach. 

Nancey is survived by her fiancé, Carlos Gloria; her three children: Elizabeth Tovar, Stella Barboza, and Joe Price; grandson, Sawyer Solis; father, Wallace Joe Price; brothers Jesse, Jacob (Kristeen), and Raymond Price (Beverly); sister Danay Gilley (Don); and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Nancey was predeceased by her mother.

Her family and friends will always remember her warmth, kindness, and the love she gave to all who knew her. Her laughter was infectious and she loved fiercely. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A private memorial service will be held in her honor at a later date. The family will invite friends and loved ones to gather to celebrate Nancey’s life and share memories.
