Mary Sue Blevins

Mary Sue Blevins 85, of Seadrift TX went to her heavenly home on the 10th of October 2023. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years Marcus L. Blevins, her parents, her siblings, and sons Leslie and Matthew Blevins. Mary was born on the 17th of April in 1938 to James and Annabel Small in Gilmore, Arkansas. She grew up in Rockport Texas before moving to Seadrift where she met her husband and later raised her children. She was 21 years old when she wed the love of her life on the 31st of October 1959. They loved to tell the story of how they were so excited to get married they didn't even realize it was Halloween. Mary loved Bluegrass music, her family, and most of all God. She was a passionate believer in Christ and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Seadrift for many years and loved her church family dearly. Mary is survived by her son Jimmy Clinton, 8 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
