Maureen died unexpectedly at Post Acute Medical Hospital on August 17, 2018 at the age of 76.
Maureen is survived by her brother Clifton Tyler of Columbus, Texas, Daughter Phyllis McCue Arabi , Son-in-law Ibrahim M. Arabi, Daughter-in-law Deanna McCue, Granddaughter Aliyah McCue Arabi, Granddaughter Amy and Duane Moses family, Grandson David Krenek family all of Victoria, Texas, Sister-in-law Sharon Lesikar of Edinburgh, Texas, Nephew Kiel Morvant of Victoria, and Eric Garza of Houston, Texas.
She is preceded in death by Son Patrick K. McCue, Husband Alfred W. Lesikar both of Victoria, Texas, Mother Phyllis R. Tyler of Bernardo, Tx and Father Marvin E. Tyler of Garwood, Texas.
Maureen was born on July 28, 1942, in Galveston,Texas to Phyllis and Marvin Tyler . She graduated from Columbus High School in 1958 . After moving to Victoria , Texas She attended Victoria College where she successfully completed both the LVN and RN programs. Maureen worked as a nurse in Victoria for over 30 years while raising her family.
Arrangements are with Victoria Mortuary & Cremation Services. A memorial service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations for memorial and medical costs are being accepted at Maureen Lesikar campaign on fundrazr.com.
