Laurie “Nan” Reyna of Westhoff, Texas, passed away peacefully on December
29, 2025. She was born on December 15, 1957 in Biloxi, Mississippi to the late
Anthony and Dorothy Pickich.
She pledged as a member of the Seventeen Club in July 1972 and reigned as
queen in 1976 over the 17th annual ball in Biloxi. She played softball and
attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Nan loved watching
football in her spare time and cheering for her favorite team, the New Orleans
Saints. She enjoyed going to the beach to watch the waves crash on the shore.
She was family-oriented and loved having her sons and their families visit. She
loved to laugh and watch tv shows and movies. Scary movies were her favorite.
She liked to tend to her rose bushes and watch them bloom. You could catch
her listening to her favorite albums by Elton John, The Bee Gees, and Rod
Stewart. She is loved and will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her father Anthony Pickich, mother Dorothy
Pickich, and brother Anthony “Joey” Pickich.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Raul Reyna, her sons Raul (Laura)
Reyna, Jr. of College Station and Jake (Victoria) Reyna of Victoria, and
granddaughter Eliana Reyna. She is also survived by her 3 sisters, Sharon
(Haven) Foretich, Toni (Roland) Broussard, and Joyce Pickich Larsen.
There will be a private mass and graveside service.
