Obituary for Kenneth “Kenny” Paul Marquez Kenneth “Kenny” Paul Marquez, 60 of Victoria, TX passed from this life suddenly and unexpectedly June 15, 2022 at his home. He was born August 30, 1961 in Durango, CO to the late Jenaro Marquez and Christine Marquez de Jaquez. Kenny was preceded in death by his best friend David Butler, his beloved cats DC, Claude, Kizzy, Gypsy, Onyx and Sam, dogs Gunner, Coda, Gordo, Maxine, Red, and Yoda. He is survived by his brothers Andrew Marquez of Victoria TX, Steve Marquez, Robert Marquez, Christopher Marquez, Michael Marquez, Anthony Marquez, Edward Marquez, and sisters Sandra Marquez Garcia, Marsha Marquez and Barbara Martinez. He had several nephews and nieces. Kenny graduated from Aztec High School, Aztec, NM, attended New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, NM graduating with an Associates Degree from Victoria College and a Bachelor's degree from University of Houston, Victoria, TX. Kenny will be affectionately remembered by his immense love he had for his beloved pets and enjoyed being with them more than anything else. He loved and enjoyed spending time tending to his beautiful flower garden. He had a giving and loving heart of gold. Kenny often helped those in need from the homeless community. He worked many years at Devereux Foundation Gardens. A Mass and celebration of life was held Saturday March 4, 2023 at St Mary’s Catholic Church. Victoria TX. Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery
