Kelly Lorene (Byerly) Carroll, 54, of Victoria went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 6, 2026. She was born July 1, 1971 in Houston, TX to Henry O’Neal Byerly and Jeanne Arlene (Cantrell) Byerly. Kelly married the love of her life Markus “Mark” Wayne Carroll on February 23, 1991 in Yorktown, TX.
She lived a life defined by love, devotion, and strength, always placing the needs of others before her own and dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her roles as a wife, mother, and daughter. She built a home for her family filled with warmth, love, and unwavering support. Never backing down from a challenge, she saw through any task she set her mind to.
Kelly served the community as a graphic designer and co-owned a successful print shop with her mother for over three decades. Throughout those years, they worked side by side, where they were not only mother/daughter but also best friends.
She valued family above all else and found joy in simply being together. Some of her happiest moments were spent with her family, sitting by the water, fishing, family game nights, and sharing quiet time with God on the back porch.
Kelly is survived by her husband of 35 years Mark Carroll of Victoria, TX, sons, Mason Wayne Carroll of San Antonio, TX and Dawson Carter Carroll of Victoria, TX, her father, Henry O’Neal Byerly of Yorktown, TX, her aunts Evangeline “Lou” Ott (Marty “Bud” Ott) and Sandi Laliberte (Dennis Laliberte).
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jeanne Arlene Cantrell Byerly, and uncles Donald Cantrell and Ronald Cantrell.
Kelly’s Celebration of Life service will be held at First English Lutheran Church in Victoria, TX on March 28th. Visitation is from 10-11am, service and meal to follow.
Memorials may be given to Pet Adoptions of Cuero, First English Lutheran Church, or donor's choice.
