Juan D. Garces

Juan Daniel Garces, 80, of Goliad, Texas, died on August 23, 2024. He was born in Rio Hondo, Texas on August 9, 1944 to Daniel and Guadalupe Hernandez Garces. He attended San Benito High School. He is preceded in death by his son, Joe Garces, and daughter, Debra Garces Revilla, his brothers, Kim Renard, Daniel Garces, and Reymundo Garces, and his sister, Debra Renard. He is survived by his children, Diana Garces Guzman of California, Connie Garces of Idaho, and Hope Garces Gonzalez of Corpus Christi as well as his brother, Joe Alfaro of Victoria and his sisters, Yolanda Hernandez of Goliad, Vicky Swickard of College Station, Teresa Lopez of San Antonio, and Luisa Hernandez of Edna. He leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well. He worked as a pipe fitter for various different plants. He loved to fish and do things around the house. He loved his family and would help out in whatever way he could. He will be missed.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 29th from 9:00 to 9:30 with a rosary & mass to follow at Immaculate conception Catholic church Goliad, Cremation to follow.
