John W. Vermillion

After 83 years, John W Vermillion joined the Lord on Thursday July 11th, 2024. He’s a very proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired police officer who protected the public with the Victoria Police Department.

He was born on March 14th, 1941, in Kenedy Texas. John was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, and go to auto races.

He is preceded to the Lord by his parents:  father John Vermillion, stepfather Henry Loehmann, Mother, Frances Loehmann, and son Raymond Vermillion. He is survived by his loving wife Frieda Vermillion, son Robert Vermillion, his wife Dana Vermillion, and grandson Jacob Vermillion.

Per Mr. Vermillions request there will not be any public services, family & friends may leave condolences at Victoria Mortuary & Cremation services website.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association and Autism Speaks, in his name.
