Janice Henning

Janice Henning, 87, of Victoria, TX passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. She was born in San Antonio, TX on January 31, 1937.

She was employed by Victoria Independent School District for almost 40 years and was an educator in the Victoria Area for more than 30. She had a passion for learning, loved mentoring her students, and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her father Retired Master Sgt. Harry Hart of Roswell, NM, and her mother Dorothy Skelton Hart of San Antonio, TX.

She is survived by a brother; Thomas Hart of Sausalito, CA and three children; Debora Owen of Victoria, TX, David Owen of Victoria, TX, Gene Cole of Victoria, TX, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Victoria Mortuary and Cremation Services, Inc. is providing services, and a private burial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of South Texas will be most welcomed.
