Hildegard Marie (Manike) Clementson

Hildegard Marie Clementson passed away December 30, 2024 at the age of 97 with loved ones by her side. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on May 20, 1927 to Edward and Marie Manike. She was an only child and spoiled by her mother and her Oma. She came to the United States after WWII and ended up in Alice, Texas for the remainder of her life. She often regretted having no siblings but left in her wake an abundance of children. This is her legacy. Rest in peace, Mama.

Hildegard is survived by her husband of 70 years, Kay Clementson; her daughters Judy Schulte and husband Vance, Debbie White and husband Doug; daughter-in-law Shirley Lambert; grandchildren Tobey Lambert, Lisa Matl (Peter), Kenny Smith (Kim), Paul Swoap (Amanda), Brandon Schulte (Megan), Erin White, Cody White and fiancé Alfonso Garcia, and Tyler White (Liz); 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by first husband, Jimmie Lambert; and son, Gary Lambert.

The family will hold a private family celebration of life for Hildegard at a later date.
