Harold Lloyd Spiegel

Harold Lloyd Spiegel, 93, of Port Lavaca, died March 9, 2025, in Victoria, Texas.  

He was born on April 22, 1931, to the late Henry George Spiegel and Ruby Ethel Mayhall Spiegel in Port Lavaca, TX.  

He married the love of his life Joyce Miller on January 8, 1956. They were married for 69 years and had three children, Sherilyn Spiegel Poarch, Harold Llyod Speigel, Jr. and Bryan Miller Spiegel.

He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. After returning from military service, he joined Alcoa where he spent 32 years as a machinist.  

He was an avid photographer, he loved to travel, and he spent many years exploring with his family.  

Harold is survived by his wife Joyce, his children Sheri, Hal, and Bryan, and 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his parent Henry George Spiegel and Ruby Ethel Mayhall Spiegel, his brother Leroy Spiegel, and his sisters Nelda Morgenroth and Georgia Mingle.  

Visitation will be held on March 22nd from 11:00 am till 11:30 am with the memorial service immediately to follow, at Grace Funeral Chapel, 1604 W.  Austin, Port Lavaca, TX.  

Interment will be held at a later date at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Corpus Christi, TX.
