Eric Andrew Rasmussen, 62, of Victoria, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023.
Eric was born to Oscar Andrew Rasmussen, Jr and Eleanor Hinkle Rasmussen Stryker, on September 9, 1960, in Dallas, Texas. He attended Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca, Texas. Throughout his lifetime, Eric worked as a Journeyman Electrician in Texas, California, and New Mexico. He was also one of the many shrimpers on the Gulf Coast. Eric had a love for the outdoors and a skill for gardening that he loved to send pictures of.
If you have ever spoken to eric, you would know that his children were his pride and joy. He is survived by his 4 children, daughter, Tiffany (Dustin) Koenning of Point Comfort; son, Brent Rasmussen of Seadrift; son, Bradley Rasmussen of Corpus Christi; daughter, Karley (Jeremy) Salinas of Victoria, along with a host of grandchildren, and nephews and nieces. He is preceded by his parents, sister, Kara Rasmussen and nephew, Neil Turner.
A Celebration of Life is pending. His children invite those of you that had known Eric growing up through adulthood to join them.
