Don loved being outdoors, it could be fishing, hunting, gardening, tinkering with projects or simply sitting in his golf cart enjoying the day. Don enjoyed a good joke and was a grand storyteller. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Per his written words “At such time I die, I do not want a funeral, no reception, no wakes, no hoopla. My legacy is not in a piece of rock with my name chipped on it. Instead, it is what I leave – My families, whom I am very proud of, and my friends.”
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of South Texas Hospice of South Texas – Hospice and Palliative Care (hospice-vic.org)
