Diana M. (Martinez) Velarde

Diana M Velarde was called home to our Lord on August 16, 2024. Born December 29, 1953 to Raul and Mary Lou Martinez, Diana, to all who knew her, was a unique and caring individual who touched lives of many. 

She raised three children.  She was totally dedicated to her children in all aspects of their lives.  Diana devoted her entire life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and continues to influence their lives.

Her friendliness and kindness to all people, and devotion and love is a tribute to the beauty of her heart and soul.  Her inspiring presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her daughters Lisa Moreno and Shalonda Arguijo and partner Steven Carrasco and her only son Daniel Velarde and his wife Jennifer, grandchildren Zack Cumpian, Mark Gonzalez, Kaitlyn Gonzalez, Emily LaGrange, Kaleb Velarde, Austin Henderson, Daniel Henderson, Shalyn and her husband Jonathan Cramblett, Ashlyn Henderson and great grandchildren Noah Uviedo, Salem Uviedo, Lincoln Cramblett and Jasper Cramblett.  Siblings as follows:  Sisters Graciela Martinez and Emma Aguinaga and husband Sammy Aguinaga and brother Raymond Martinez along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Life Celebration will be announced at a later time.

REMEMBER ME

Don’t remember me with sadness, Don’t remember me with tears,

Remember all the laughter, We’ve shared throughout the years.

Now I am contented that my life it was worthwhile,

Knowing that I passed along the way I made somebody smile. 

When you are walking down the street

And you’ve got me on your mind, I’m walking in your footsteps

Only half a step behind. So please don’t be unhappy

Just because I’m out of sight,

Remember that I’m with you each morning, noon and night
