Our beloved Delia Maria Medrano returned home to join the Lord on the evening of December 16, 2024. She was born on January 15, 1962 from the late Joseph (Joe) Medrano Jr. and Delphine Balli Medrano. Delia was full of life and served God by singing in her church's choir at Our Lady of Sorrow’s Church. Delia’s greatest joy was being an Aunt and spending time with all her Nieces and Nephews. She loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends who she loved dearly. At home, Delia loved being with her cats and taking care of her plants. She will be missed and rejoiced for the life that she led by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sisters Diana M. Uherek (Vincent), Bernadette M. Morales, brother
Christopher R. Medrano. She is also survived by six nieces Jessica Longoria, Jana Longoria, Julianne Uherek, Ashley Austin (Brian), Vanessa Medrano, Erica Medrano, and one nephew Alan Michael Morales, one great niece Amelia Diana Burklow, and four great nephews Nicholas Longoria, Luke Maddox Austin, Liam Xavier Austin, and Shain May.
Delia is preceded by her parents Joe and Delphine Medrano, her sister Patricia M. Medrano, and her brother Albert Barrientes.
Funeral Mass and Memorial Service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 208 W. River Street Victoria, Texas 77901 on Saturday, January 18, 2025. A Rosary to be recited at 8:15am, Mass at 9:00am with Burial immediately after service at Resurrection Cemetery.
