Dalia Ramirez

Dalia Ramirez was born to Daniel Ramirez, Sr. and Lazara Perez Ramirez in Agua Nueva, Texas (Jim Hogg County) on April 23, 1939 and passed away on November 06, 2024 at the age of 85. She was a lifelong resident of Hebbronville, Texas and a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Dalia graduated as a proud Longhorn from Hebbronville High School in 1959 and always worked tirelessly as an organizer for each class reunion held.  Dalia was employed at the Hebbronville Auction as an accountant for 26 years until their closing. She was a lover of traveling and an avid sports enthusiast, especially enjoying football, baseball and golf. Whenever possible she always enjoyed an evening out playing cards or bingo with her friends.

Dalia was loved by all and has left memories that will not be forgotten.  She will be remembered as a truly good and decent person devoting her life to caring for her parents and family.  Dalia did not live her life seeking fame or treasure, she lived to love and make the world a little better with her gentle manner, warm smile and generosity.  Those who knew and loved Dalia will surely miss her calm and reassuring voice, her easy laugh, and the love and care she kindly bestowed on so many.

Dalia is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel, Sr. and Lazara and her sister Delia Moore.

Left to remember Dalia is her 3 brothers, Roel (Josephine), Alejandro, and Daniel, Jr. (Deborah) along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.  Dalia you are forever missed but we know we will soon see you again. We love you!!

Heartfelt appreciation is extended to the entire staff of Meridian Care of Hebbronville for the fine care as well as the love and compassion they showed Dalia in her final years as a resident there.

A memorial mass will be held on November 23, 2024 at 11:00 am in Dalia’s memory at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville, Texas.
