Billy Joe Davis

Billy Joe Davis, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, with much of his family by his side. He was born on April 11, 1939, to the late Henry R. and Ella Mae Davis.  Billy married Patricia Ann Smith on September 19, 1958, in Victoria, Texas, and together they became parents of four sons. He was never idle.  He loved his work, providing beautiful homes for families.  He was a very talented and generous carpenter and enjoyed many woodworking hobbies, making birdhouses and trays that he would gift to everyone.  He was also famous for making and sharing his amazing banana nut bread.  Billy was a devoted Christian his entire life.  He is survived and will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, sons, Mike (Anne), Donny (Marilyn), and Gary (Julie), 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Henriella Wiegand, his son Mark and grandson Austin.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Midtown Church of Christ in Victoria, Tx.
