Barbarita Calderon Obituary

Barbarita Calderon, 93, of Cuero, TX passed away on August 31, 2022 at home surrounded by her sisters & family. She was born December 4, 1928 to the late Antonio & Juanita Alvarez.

January 31, 1948 she married the love of her life Ralph Calderon. They were married 39 years before he passed away in 1987.

Barbarita is survived by her sisters, Elena Alverez and Nicolasa Tobar both from Westhoff, TX; brother, George Alvarez of Goliad, TX; nephew whom she raised, Tony Alvarez of Goliad, TX; long time friend & companion, Caretaller Andres Licona. Barbarita has numerous nieces and nephews as well as great, great-great & great-great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; sisters, Sacarias Calderon, Tomacita Castillo, Benita Nunez; brothers, Andres, Dionicio & Jesus Alvarez.

She will be laid to rest at La Bahia cemetery with her husband for all eternity at a later date.
