Barbara M. Hill

Barbara M. Hill, 88, passed away on December 6, 2023. She was born April 23,1935 in Dewitt County to the late David R. Maxey and Bonnie Prewett Maxey. She and her family moved to Victoria when she was six years old. She met and married the late Harry O. Hill in December 1955. They were together for sixty-four plus years when he passed away in March of 2020. They had two children, Steven D. Hill and Deborah (Debbie) L. Hill Snider. She is survived by her son Steven Hill, five grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her brother Robert E. Maxey (Barbara) of Shiner and many nieces, nephews and precious cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents David R. and Bonnie Prewett Maxey, her husband Harry O. Hill, her daughter, Debbie Hill Snider, her brothers and sisters-in-law David L. and Donna Sparks Maxey, Mickey R. and Altha Gilmore Maxey.

Her cremains and those of her husband and daughter will be interred in Hillside Cemetery, Cuero, Texas in the Maxey lot.
