After battling kidney cancer, Linda went to be with the angels May 27, 2019. She was born in Seattle WA on April 9, 1951 to Richard Frank Langnau and Elizabeth J. Langnau. She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather James Loomis, Jr.; brother Greg N. Langnau; and sister Charleen L. Salinas. Linda is survived by mother Elizabeth J. Loomis, Victoria TX; brother William G. Langnau, Richmond VA; and many nieces and nephews. Linda graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque NM, in 1969. She attended the University of New Mexico and finished 2 years of nursing in the Philippines to pursue her career as an in-home nurse. She was involved in the Masonic order for women including Amaranth and Eastern Star. In addition to being a Master Gardener, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Victoria Book Clubs and the Genealogy Society. She was an active supporter of the Schroeder Fire Dept. and very active in the First United Methodist Church in Goliad. In lieu of flowers, please donate to First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or to any of your favorite organizations. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sat, June 22 at the First United Methodist Church, 134 W. Pearl St., Goliad TX.
