GEORGE ORNELAS

George Albert Ornelas, 68, of Victoria, Texas passed away, Saturday, March 3, 2018.

A celebration of life service will be held at Mission Funeral Home 6204 S. First St. Austin, Texas, 78745 on Saturday March 10, 2018 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. The Rosary will begin at 6:00pm.

George was born April 23, 1949 in Mathis, Texas. He enjoyed his work as a carpenter and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Most of his free time was spent on or near the water looking for his next great catch or enjoying the company of his family and friends.

George is survived by his two daughters, Connie Castilleja and her husband Henry Castilleja, Diane Saldaña and her husband Richard Saldana, his sisters Jane Davila and Ramona Rivera and his brother Greg Ornelas and several nieces and nephews..
